White-label and custom domains
If you sell GEO under your own brand, the client portal should look like your tool, not Outrigger's. White-label and a custom domain make the client-facing side yours. Both are part of the Agency plan.
What white-label changes
Turn on Hide Outrigger branding in Report branding. While your workspace is on the Agency plan:
- Reports and portal pages show your logo and accent color without the Outrigger credit.
- Emails Outrigger sends for you, such as portal invites, report notices and alerts, use your sender name. They still come from Outrigger's notification address.
If the workspace moves to a plan without white-label, Outrigger branding returns automatically. Your saved settings are kept for when you upgrade again. Your operator dashboard is unaffected; only the client-facing surface changes.
Custom domains
Without a custom domain, client portal links use Outrigger's standard address. With one, invites can use your own host, for example reports.youragency.com.
Setup has three steps:
- Add the domain in
/dashboard/settings/branding. Outrigger generates a verification token. - Set the TXT record at
_mentionlayer.<your-domain>to the token, then click Verify. Verification asks Cloudflare and Google DNS-over-HTTPS and requires both to agree, which blocks half-propagated DNS. - Hosting. Outrigger adds the verified domain to its hosting and confirms it. Invite links keep using the standard address until this is done, so no client receives a link that does not load yet.
What this lets you pitch
"You'll get a portal at reports.acmegrowth.com with your brand on it" sells differently from "you'll get a portal on someone else's site." White-label is the line between reselling a tool and shipping your own product.
